Last night we found another reasonably priced restaurant, the Fuhrmann-Stube, and for 38 euros, I had goulashzuppe and sausage with sauerkraut and Swiss potatoes (kind of like McDonald’s hashbrowns), and Rob had another Knödelzuppe, and a pork dish with sauerkraut. Also included a beer each.

Another sunny day on the slopes, but it was a bit colder today (about -6). We started our day by taking the ski bus to the terminal, then taking the magic carpet up so that you can ski over to Rendl. It was a bit icy and bumpy when you skied through the underpass, and Rob had his first tumble of the day. Read the rest of this entry »

Okay, I’m a bit of a weather junkie, and I’d much rather have snow than rain or freezing rain if it’s going to be cold. So imagine my excitement when I heard we’re getting 30 (yes, count them) cm of snow starting tomorrow morning. The ski trails and hills could sure use it! So why bitch about winter … get out and enjoy it…you may even get a snow day once in a while!
