Around Mons, Belgium

We had a late start to the day today. Rob learned a hard lesson about Belgian beer. You can’t drink 8% like it’s 4%. But the day was beautiful, sunny and about 11 degrees.

Today Chris took us to SHAPE (and we even have our guest passes, complete with photos). It’s better than any base I’ve been to, and neat because you have all the differently nationalities. There are several schools run by Brits, Canadians and Americans, a soccer league, floor hockey team, and shops to support all the people working here. We visited a couple, and bought some supplies for the road trip and gingerale for Rob’s stomach. He seems to be doing much better now.
